Every day we deal with the same challenges as our clients – food and energy costs, finding the right people and keeping guests happy. We enjoy working with people who are passionate about what they do, and we are glad to share more than 30 years of experience in hospitality.
How we can helpF&B Concepts was founded in 2006 by Jan Boroš, who by then had ten years of experience in the industry – from front-line roles and restaurant management to director of F&B development and head of the catering project at today’s O2 Arena in Prague.
Today we focus on individual projects. F&B Concepts is a co-founder of a number of businesses across hospitality and retail, and we advise individual clients at any stage of their project.
We are creative and we most enjoy being involved in projects from the very beginning.
Investing in a venue is a decision you don’t make every day. Beyond data and scenario models, we bring operating experience that a spreadsheet alone cannot capture.
Learn moreWe most enjoy being involved from the start. We help with the concept, economics, menu, kitchen layout, recruiting the team and the opening itself.
Learn moreLabour and food cost, energy, rent, services and marketing. We help set costs and prices so the venue is not only full, but profitable.
Learn moreNo repeated, off-the-shelf training. We facilitate discussion and the sharing of experience, adding what we have lived through in hospitality.
Learn moreBefore deciding where to take your venue, you need to know where it stands. We take an unbiased look at processes, economics and the team, name the critical points and propose a plan of priorities.
Learn moreA qualified mystery guest visits your venue and delivers a detailed report – on the standards you set and, above all, on whether they would want to come back.
Learn moreWe start with a first meeting with every potential client. Our first job is to listen and understand what you expect from working with us and what success should look like. Based on that, we agree on the goals together.
The next step is an assessment of the plan or an operational audit, so we know the starting point and can set priorities, a timeline and a budget for each phase.
Once the timeline and budget are agreed, the work begins, with regular reviews after each phase. We can work on a specific task and timeframe, or on an ongoing basis with clearly defined deliverables.
Electronic sales registration is back. We have summarised verified facts from the law and the Financial Administration: who EET 2.0 applies to, what is recorded, what needs to be done by the end of the year and what changes for restaurants and pubs.
